The homeowners, recently settling into their new residence, aimed to elevate their master suite. The initial layout boasted a spacious walk-in closet but suffered from a cramped master bathroom, alongside a small adjoining room with an unknown original purpose. The challenge lay in re-imagining this intricate space while preserving the exterior, structural walls, and numerous skylights.
A strategic reconfiguration of the bedroom redirected circulation, creating a more intimate ambiance. The master bathroom found a new location to capitalize on natural light and scenic backyard views. Simultaneously, the walk-in closet was meticulously relocated, ensuring a streamlined and efficient layout for the entire master suite while harmonizing with existing skylights.
The transformed space not only fulfilled the homeowners' practical needs but also demonstrated a creatively revised footprint, seamlessly melding functionality with aesthetic appeal.
