CABIN KITCHEN

The small kitchen remodel strives to create an updated rustic aesthetic in a small, off-the-grid house located in the hills of Humboldt County.
The design worked around the existing building structure and kitchen equipment. This proved most challenging when dealing with a 2'-0" thick rock wall that runs around the base of the kitchen. This is an element that had to be carefully incorporated into the cabinet design and dining table seating.
The tiling was selected for its sustainability and its location. The tile was installed by Cairns Architecture.
